The Turkey Trot has become an annual fundraising event for Uganda. It is scheduled for Friday the 27th at 9:00am. There is an urgent need for volunteers and participants!!! Please pray that the event will have a good turn out. . . both volunteers and fundraising participants.

Welcome!!!!
The purpose of this Blog is to share with you (or anyone that may be interested) in how God is working in Uganda.
Here are some facts about the ministry in Mbale, Uganda.
1. There have been 90 church's planted since the ministry began in 2001.
2. Pastors Conferences started in 2004 with 350 native pastors
3. This year (2010) we are anticipating 10,000 pastors to attend the conference.
4. Each pastor will be given a MacArthur Study Bible.
5. Along with the conference, there will be several church's planted in the Mbale region.
The cost of the Pastors Conference is $15.00 per Pastor at a total cost of $150,000. There is also a burden to give each pastor attending a MacArthur Study Bible. These bibles can be purchased for an additional $15.00 each.
The general church plant in Uganda will cost approximately $30,000. This money is used to purchase land, build a church building, and a pastors house.
Karissa and I (Dennis) will be joining Grace Bible Church in March for the missions trip. Please be in prayer about the funds that need to be raised for these things. Karissa and I will be doing some fundraising for our own trip as well.
